Job Description:
The Company is looking to grow their installation and service team. The Installation Technician is accountable for installing a variety of the company’s automated cutting and spreading machines worldwide and training customers on the equipment and software. The technician will also be available for field service and warranty work as required in order to ensure the company’s customers receive the best service and support in the industry. When not on an installation or service call, the technician will work from the company’s headquarters on supporting customers and other technicians in the field, manufacturing and engineering support, and other technical related tasks.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 or 4 year degree in electrical or mechanical technology and/or engineering.
- 1-2 years of experience communicating and working with customers directly.
- 1-4 years of experience in automated cutting or related industry a plus.
- Willing and able to spend 50-70% travelling.
- Must be able to obtain a Passport and Visa for overseas travel.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work and excel with little supervision.
- Ability to troubleshoot over the phone and/or at customer site.
- Able to pass company physical and background check
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and good computer skills
