Progressive, well-established local technology company specializing in various technologies including Managed IT Services, Wireless Internet Service, Two-Way Radio, Video Security, Access Control, IP Phone Systems, Radio Over IP, and IP Voice Loggers seeks an energetic, customer service driven, team player for the position of Information Technology System Manager in Northwestern PA.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Responsible for supporting the overall information systems’ functions. Provide a broad range of technical support and administration for the network and technology systems. Responsible for supporting application installation, hardware/software maintenance, changes and server/PC operations. Responsible for supporting IT infrastructure including cabling, switches, firewalls and routers, telecommunications, and IT resources.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Install, configure, and support the local area network (LAN) including VLANs, wide area network (WAN), VPN, switches and firewall
· Providing remote and onsite customer support for Microsoft virtual environments, Cloud backups and other related services
· Provisioning, installing and configuring cloud related services
· Providing presales support—primarily participating in sales calls to assist in the technical aspects of the sale and ensuring that the customer’s technical requirements are met
· Interfacing with our customers other hardware and software vendors to identify and resolve problems
· Performing basic project management
· Providing customers training and guidance as required
· Properly documenting service activities on a daily basis, accurately accounting for inventory of service parts and keeping internal customer related information up-to-date
Qualifications:
· Associate degree in related field and/or combination of industry experience and certifications
· Valid PA Driver’s License and good driving record
· Previous experience with managed service environments preferred
· Excellent Communications Skills - Oral and Written
· Excellent Organizational Skills
· Proven ability to multitask and operate productively in an eclectic service environment
· Ability to provide professional customer service at all times and in all situations
· Expertise in managed services such as:
· Microsoft cloud services
· Managed Antivirus
· Backup and disaster Recovery
· Patch management and device updating
· Device health monitoring
· Experience with backup and imaging technologies
· Basic IT troubleshooting
· Available for support calls 24/7. This may include onsite during the evening and weekends.
· Support ERP system.
· Work with current Managed Service Provider (MSP) to record, track, and document help desk requests, problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made.
· Document processes and procedures.
· Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization.
· Provide individual and/or group instruction and training for staff on computer systems as needed.
· Provide technical assistance during special projects.
Work experience requirements:
· Minimum of two years related experience that includes a combination of formal training and/or certifications, computer/server/storage installation, maintenance and repair, and user support
· A minimum of two years of IT work experience
· Experience with Microsoft Office 365
· Familiarity SharePoint a plus
· Experience with Ubiquiti Cloud Portals UNFI, UISP, and UMNS Platforms
· Knowledge of Ninja RMM and 3CX Phone Systems a plus but not required
Job Type: Full-time – 80% remote in office and 20% in the field
