What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Controller position at gpac?
Currently working with a leading packaging and containers manufacturing company that has a need for a Manufacturing Controller to build strong relationships and trust with cross-funtional colleagues, including but not limited to sales, procurement, estimating, and operations, to drive growth and profitability. The Manufacturing Controller will drive financial planning, forecasting and the budget processes, assists with quarterly, annuals, and long-range plans and targets aligned with strategic financial/operational objectives. This opportunity of the Manufacturing Controller will assess and evaluate revenue/pricing, costs, and margin, advising on customer contracts.

Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related business field
- MBA, CPA, or advanced degree preferred
- 8 years of proven financial leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with focus on process improvement
- Accounting software (Great Plains preferred) and financial analysis software
- Performance orientation, how to help business improve EBITDA, top line revenue, customer retention
- Background in financial planning and forecast processes, including quarterly, annual, and long-range plans and targets that are aligned with startegic objectives
- History in conducting client profitability reviews, including revenue/pricing, costs, and margin; identify anomalies and root causes
- Able to conduct product manufacturing, cost (project and expense), and ROI analyses; interpret results and trends, and identify areas of improvement impacting sales, gross margin, operating profit, cost savings, working capital, depreciation of company assets
