JOB DESCRIPTION: Financial Controller

Accounting Responsibilities:
- Review general ledger account data and analyze to ensure that the company's financial records are complete and accurate
- Upload weekly payroll in QuickBooks and reconcile discrepancies
- Prepare and manage weekly certified payroll reports
- Support general ledger tasks, including reconciliations and control analysis
- Prepare account reconciliations, monthly/yearly statements, and reports
- Review and verify data for accuracy, resolving discrepancies with a focus
- Assist with customer billing and lien waivers
- Support with closings for monthly, quarterly, and year-end including bank and credit card reconciliations
- Assist with year-end tax review able to meet deadlines
- Other projects and duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail and accuracy
- QuickBooks - intermediate experience required
- Microsoft Suite experience required
- ADP experience preferred
- Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 3 years' experience Accounts Payable & Receivable required
- 1-3 years' Construction Bookkeeper preferred
