Gpac is working with a client company in southwestern Michigan that is seeking someone to move into an Order Fulfillment Coordinator position that just opened.
The Order Fulfillment Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient order processing and fulfillment.
This position involves coordinating and managing various tasks related to order management, logistics, and customer service.
The Order Fulfillment Coordinator works closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities :
Order Processing : Receive, review, and process incoming orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of order details, pricing, and terms.
Enter orders into the company's order management system and generate order confirmations.
Logistics Coordination : Coordinate the shipment of domestic orders, including selecting appropriate carriers, preparing shipping documentation, and tracking shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
Address any shipping issues or delays proactively and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
Order Tracking and Updates : Maintain accurate records of order status and update customers on order progress, estimated delivery dates, and any changes or delays.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status and provide exceptional customer service.
Collaboration and Communication : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse, and Finance, to resolve order-related issues, and ensure smooth order flow.
Foster effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders.
Process Improvement : Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and improve order fulfillment processes. Propose and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Prior experience in order fulfillment, customer service, or a related role is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and data entry.
- Proficient in using order management systems and other relevant software applications.
- Good understanding of logistics and shipping processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
