A highly respected company in the food/beverage industry is looking to add a Plant Manager to their team. This company has made some key upgrades/expansions and are ready to add another member to their successful organization. Plant Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee manufacturing operations for a food/beverage facility consisting of hourly associates and a management staff
- Lead the achievement of a zero-injury workplace by ensuring safe work conditions for associates and compliance with all state and federal regulations on environmental, health, and safety issues
- Tracks key performance indicators/costs, anticipating and correcting trends which would compromise achievement of financial targets
- Responsible for overall plant profit and loss (P&L) for production, maintenance, quality control and warehouse
- Leads overall responsibility for food safety and adherence to quality compliance mandates along with ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Handles the inventory process for receiving and delivering materials in a timely manner
- Solves day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
Plant Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, management, or a similar field required.
- Lean Six Sigma experience preferred
- Minimum of 7-10 years' experience in a manufacturing environment (food/beverage industry preferred)
