What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Technician position at Gpac?
Position: Process Tech
The Process Tech will assist Production Engineers and all members of the production team to make sure daily production and product schedules are met.
Job Description:
- Establish and maintain all process parameters.
- Establish and maintain process requirements for new tryouts.
- Develop and implement training / upgrade schedule for technicians.
- Establish and maintain technical information and support between production facilities.
- Develop and maintain customer / supplier quality and material requirements for current and tryout processes.
- Set-up and implement extended tryout processes.
- Assist in new fixture and tooling implementation.
- Work closely with Process Engineer.
- Complete assigned paperwork as appropriate.
- Other duties or tasks as assigned or required.
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Technical degree preferred
- 2 years of experience in a similar setting
Special Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable working and communicating with coworkers
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of the products and processes.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt
- Clear ability to make appropriate judgement
- Possess basic math skills.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions.
- Ability to write and complete required paperwork.
