A well-known food production company is looking for an experienced Production Manager to come join their growing team! This position is open due to a promotion. They prefer to promote from within when possible, they just don't have anyone internally right now that would be a fit so it's a rare opportunity to get your foot in the door!
Production Manager Job Responsibilities:
- Maintains safety/environmental self-audits & visual checks, champions all safety or ergonomic activities for the department and helps to develop and meet plant safety goals.
- Maintains adequate knowledge of products and equipment to ensure the ability to direct employees to perform the job properly.
- Maintain or exceed goals on yields and efficiencies.
- Train and coach crew members
- Enforce all plant food safety, GMP, personnel safety and company policies
- Other duties as assigned
Production Manager Background Requirements:

2 years of manufacturing experience required
- Experience in Food/Beverage production preferred
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience in safety and quality preferred
- Minimum of High School Degree or GED required, College Degree preferred
