What qualifies you?
-
High School Diploma and/or GED
-
Former or current Textile background
-
3 years of experience as a shift lead or lead technician
-
Manufacturing experience
-
Production Shift Supervisor experience
-
Work-related experience in leading and ensuring compliance with safety initiatives
-
Demonstrated ability to raise performance by building and maintaining positive relationships with all associates
-
Desire to advance in leadership positions without mobility restrictions
What will you do?
-
Go through training to understand our manufacturing process
-
Manage and lead a team of approximately 25-40 production employees to meet daily production, quality, and safety goals
-
Spend time on the floor walking/cycling the department, teaching, coaching and following up with hourly employees on performance, proper adherence to Job duties, understanding and directing resolution of production machine issues, break schedule adherence.

Utilize attained knowledge and experience to analyze & troubleshoot equipment and machinery

Possess or attain a thorough understanding and working knowledge of our manufacturing process and related equipment, machinery, and systems, including the proper setup and control settings of the equipment

Thoroughly communicate important information to all employees to ensure the smooth flow of materials/products and to make sure employees possess the information needed to successfully perform their job duties
-
Maintain conformance with policies, rules, and procedures on his / her shift
-
Take appropriate coaching, counseling, and corrective action (when necessary) with nonconforming associates
-
Attain a high-level working knowledge of all QC Systems and material/product testing equipment
-
Manage time & attendance on a daily basis for all direct report employees
-
Must be flexible and willing and able to work all shifts, including weekends
