The Project Manager will work with the internal and external resources to capture and define the scope, success criteria, action items, risks, timelines, etc. of multiple projects at any given time. Oversees all aspects of the project management process from concept to implementation. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors, and summarizes progress of projects. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of projects.
Responsibilities & Duties of the Project Manager:
• Defines, documents, and executes all elements of a project throughout its life cycle
• Coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors for successful execution of multiple projects
• Develop a detailed project plan and timeline to monitor and track progress
• Manage the relationship with the project sponsor and relevant stakeholders
• Drive results though others using proven project management tools
• Provide project updates on a defined frequency to internal and external stakeholders about budget, scope adjustments, and project status
• Determine resources required to effectively manage projects
• Assist in budget creation and project cost tracking
• Track project health and success probability through identified project milestones
• Generates and maintains documentation for each project
• Establishes and manages reoccurring meetings with team
• Identifies gaps/issues, process inefficiencies and solutions to resolve
Skills & Abilities:
• Minimum 2 years of Project Management experience required
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at a time and meet deadlines
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• High proficiency with software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project and/or project management software
• Ability to make good decisions based upon a mixture of analysis, technical understanding, wisdom, experience and judgement
• Familiarity with cGMP, FDA & EPA Regulatory requirements a plus
• Ability to quickly absorb new concepts, terminology, regulations, etc.
