What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Inspector position at Gpac?
Position: Quality Control Inspector
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Ability to read and understand customer prints
· Ability to use inspection tools as shown and trained
· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
· Problem solving and troubleshooting
· Ability to segregate non-conforming parts from acceptable parts
· Experience working on a manufacturing team with machinists and engineers
· A good understanding of the manufacturing process
· Maintain a safe and clean workstation
General Qualifications
- Operate CMM
- Make medium level adjustments to Zeiss Calypso software
- Interpret CMM reports and communicate corrections needed to line supervisor/production manager
- Ability to open setup/layout inspect dimensions that are out on the CMM report for correlation/2nd method
- Complete knowledge of GD&T
- Top level print reading ability
- Variety of hand gage use knowledge
- Calibration experience
- Good computer skills
