Progressive, well-established local technology company seeks an energetic, customer service driven, team player for the position of Land Mobile Radio Field Technician in Northwestern PA.

-Knowledge of RF service Monitor use and programming software
The individual selected for this position will...
- Perform field maintenance technical services (e.g. installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, reporting on) and related support for a wide range of complex electronic, Land Mobile Radio infrastructure and subscribers, video security equipment, access control, and standalone and networked computer systems. Maintains documentation all systems and equipment.
- Establish radio networks by running, pulling, terminating, and splicing cables; installing radio equipment, mobile units, repeaters, base stations, antennas, coaxial cable; establishing connections; programming features; following industry standards.
- Verify service by testing equipment; identifying, correcting, or escalating problems.
- Document network by labeling and routing equipment and cables; recording configuration diagrams and specifications.
- Maintain network by troubleshooting and repairing outages; testing network back-up procedures; updating documentation.
- Maintain customer rapport by listening to and resolving concerns, answering questions.
- Maintain safe work environment by following codes, standards, and legal regulations.
- Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities
Education Requirements:
Associates degree in electronics, engineering sciences, electrical engineering, or military technical schools in the electronic/electrical fields or accredited technical school in electronics/electrical disciplines. In the absence of a degree or noted training, the individual shall have documented proof and proven track record of at least 2 years in on-the job hands-on experience.
