Senior Cost Accountant Requirements:
MUST have Cost Accountant Manager experience (3-5 years)
GAAP/IFRS (3-5 years)
Bachelor's in Accounting/Business Management
Compliance proficiency with SOX (3-5 years)
Manufacturing experience
Excel, SAP, & other accounting platforms
Communication skills
Senior Cost Accountant Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform advanced cost accounting analyses & ensure compliance with GAAP & IFRS practices
Prepare various reports & the budget reports concerning Operations & Corporate Functions
Consolidate financial data for forecasts, corporate reporting, & monthly reporting, including the development & maintenance of financial models to consolidate analytical data quickly & accurately
Responsible for ad-hoc financial planning, forecasting, & other management reporting functions
Actively collaborate with the IT & finance team
Work with CFO on cost issues, analytics, reporting, & improvements
May occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical parts
Moderate noise level in the work environment
