What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Supervisor (Manufacturing) position at Gpac?
We are currently partnered with a top of the line Maufacturing Company who is looking to add a Shop Supervisor to their Team!
What You'll Do
- Meet or exceed safety, production, quality, and inventory management targets set by management
- Set clear objectives and hold employees accountable
- Ensure that business is conducted with the highest standards of quality and integrity
- Act as liaison between Senior Management and subordinate levels to inform personnel of communications, decisions, and policies
- Participates in Safety
- Supervise the production operators as they shear, bend, and load rebar to customer specifications
- Ensure and facilitate the training of new employees
What You'll Need
- Minimum 2 years experience as supervisor, preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in Maufacturing shop operations, preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate up, down, and across the business
- Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Knowledge of quality standards/procedures
- Continuous Improvement experience, preferred
Salary : $55,000 - $75,000
