A top general contractor has an urgent need to hire a Commercial Construction Superintendent. The Superintendent is in full control of the field operations, running the schedule, pushing the project team, coordinating subcontractors, and constructing a quality building on time and under budget.
Superintendent Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent running ground up projects.
- Proven experience managing multiple crews and projects concurrently
- Able to work regularly on-site while being exposed to moving mechanical parts
- Able to be successful working in adverse weather conditions and moderate to very loud work environment
- Demonstrable ability to manage people, costs, and budgets
Superintendent Essential Functions:
- Proven track record building a variety of commercial construction projects
- Coordinate schedule, man power, equipment and resources
- Direct and evaluate site personnel and staff
- Maintain EEO compliance negotiate on site labor relations
- Enforce project safety and security
- Review and approve all subcontractor and vendor payment as well as timely preparation of payment requisitions
Compensation:
- Depends on Experience and Education (negotiable)
- Exceptional Bonus and benefits package.
