Trust advisor

We are seeking an experienced TRUST ADVISOR to join our team managing client trusts and estates. As a Trust Advisor, you will work directly with high net worth clients to manage assets placed in trust, administer estate plans, tax planning, and provide personalized advice around wealth transfer plans.

Responsibilities

• Administer various types of trusts and estates
• Provide clients clear explanations and guidance on trust accounts and estate planning strategies
• Review and interpret trust agreements and wills
• Determine trust beneficiaries and distributions; execute investment and payout decisions
• Manage communications with beneficiaries, executors, attorneys and other related parties
• Stay current on trust, tax, and probate laws and regulation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; JD degree a plus
• At least 3 years of experience in trust or estate administration
• In-depth knowledge of fiduciary and trust activities
• Strong analytical thinker with excellent communication skills
• CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CTFA (Certified Trust & Fiduciary Advisor) preferred
