Trust Officer/Administrator

An Illinois Bank is aggressively seeking a Trust Administrator in either the Springfield, IL or St Louis, MO area. This position is only available because a long time member of staff is due to retire.

An Administrator with at 1-7 years of experience is preferred but not required

You will be asked to:

Direct accounts with departmental policy and procedures and state laws.

Engage in business, social and community events for visibility.

Coordinate with business development and investment officers in new account sales.

Synthesize with investment officers and work with trust operations department.

Manage trust accounting system working knowledge and technological applications.

Implement client documents terms.

Pack and submit trust documents as per bank and department requirements.

Administer assigned trust accounts to comply with state and federal regulations.

Offer superior customer service for accounts under administration.

Hold periodic meetings with clients for communication.

Check daily transactions, approve payments and process discretionary paperwork.

Screen visitors and telephone calls and handle meetings for trust associates.

Maintain account files for filing.

Attend to customer queries on bank products and services on trust service products.

Sell deposit and loan products.
