Job title: VP Sales & Marketing / COO
Location: North Carolina
Summary/objective: Growing company with global reach is seeking to bring on a seasoned VP Sales & Marketing/COO executive with a strong manufacturing background. The incumbent will be a forward thinking thought leader and will serve as Chief Operating Officer and VP of Sales and Marketing to grow the company.
This position will report directly to the CEO and be a vital player on the executive team.
Essential functions:
- Develops short and long-term business development strategy for assigned area of responsibility, with key focus on development of new target accounts, markets, products and services with an emphasis on e-commerce
- Manages multiple channel selling strategies for the US and Globally
- Responsible for sales analysis to increase profits
- Presents sales presentations to increase profitable sales
- Oversee all current marketing efforts including email campaigns, social media, content creation, and more
- Develop marketing plans and campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive consumer loyalty
Required competency:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including presentation
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong sales skills
- High emphasis on customer satisfaction and brand reputation
- Brand strategy, activation, and innovation experience
- Demonstrable skills to develop and execute large-scale marketing and sales programs and projects with varying degrees of complexity
Education and experience:
- Bachelor's Degree; MBA strongly preferred
- 5 years at a VP level of Sales or Business Development or COO
- Must have an automotive background
Physical demands:
- High manual dexterity of hands and fingers
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to use a computer for a prolonged amount of time
- Ability to move or lift files and boxes up to 20 pounds
