Job Summary

The Billing Team Lead will fulfill a working leader role for the team responsible for invoicing jobs completed by the field with assigned deadlines. This role requires regular communication and collaboration with external customers, company leadership, and multiple internal departments.

Job Goals

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoicing jobs.
• Maintaining customer billing requirements.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to reach operational goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the workflow of the team
• Monitor volume and adjust work assignments as needed
• Resolve higher-level requests and questions
• Collaborate with other internal teams for escalated issues
• Invoicing jobs completed by the field within assigned deadlines

Qualifications

Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

• Associate degree or 1-2 years of equivalent experience in a Billing role.
• Must have high proficiency in processing invoices while maintaining customer billing requirements.
• 1-2 years of direct team management experience including guiding, directing, and managing performance for team members.
• History of working effectively in a team environment.
• Possess effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Display a strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Ability to display professionalism when communicating with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to learn and work with NetSuite software.
