Job Summary:
We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. As an LVN, you will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and assist in the coordination of patient care activities. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
- Assist with patient assessments and document findings
- Provide patient education on various health topics, including family planning and senior care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Perform basic life support techniques in emergency situations
- Conduct phlebotomy and venipuncture procedures as needed
- Assist with sterile processing of medical instruments and equipment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of Texas or a compact state
- Active AHA BLS and IV Therapy Certification
