What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at Grabill Cabinet Company?
As a Quality Inspector, you are responsible for examining cabinets and components for correct assembly, quality finish, and defects. You will be a critical team member ensuring that Grabill Cabinets are built and shipped successfully – meeting our unwavering commitment to quality.
Responsibilities
- Inspect products for defects, and specification deviations and monitor the production and flow of product.
- Perform touch-ups on products that can be reworked on the spot.
- Maintain and document inspection results and records.
- Track and record problem orders, trends in defects, etc.
- Report product that is beyond repair to Quality Manager.
- Analyze customer drawings, prints, and specifications for the finished products.
- Follow established department guidelines and requirements to maintain quality standards.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- 1 years of experience working with quality standards is preferred.
- Microsoft applications, and ERP system knowledge required.
- Strong Attention to details
- Knowledge of stains, paints, and wood species is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
