What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activity Coordinator position at Grace Assisted Living at Chubbuck/Pocatello?
Employee will assure van has fuel and is done in a timely manner, as well as keeps van clean and orderly.
Employee will implement and conduct a meaningful leisure activity program based on the resident’s interest needs and abilities. Post monthly calendar of events and hand out individual calendars to each resident.
Employee will keep residents and staff informed of scheduled group activities.
Employee encourages staff assistance/participation with daily group activities.
Employee will establish and maintain a volunteer program through recruiting, interviewing, training, supervising, and evaluating volunteers matching the skills and interest of the volunteer with the right project.
Employee will maintain appropriate records according to policy and procedure and state regulations.
Employee will develop and maintain a list of community resources.
Employee will establish opportunities for resident participation in community events.
Employee will assist in developing additional resources for special interest of residents.
Employee will provide materials for independent activities.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
