We are looking for an experienced professional Operations Manager with outstanding leadership qualities to coordinate and oversee our organization’s day to day onsite operations. The operations manager role is mainly to implement the right processes and practices across the organization. The specific duties of an operations manager include formulating strategy, improving performance, procuring material and resources and securing compliance. You should be enthusiastic in inspiring and mentoring your team members, always seeking ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels. Ultimately, we’ll trust you to help us remain compliant, efficient and profitable in order to achieve optimal outcomes for our patients as well as increase job satisfaction for all team members.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
- Improve operational software systems, processes and best practices
- Purchase materials, keep inventory, and manage onsite and online stores
- Implement new softwares/ technical tools, maintain and update existing.
- Oversee clinic workflow efficiency to maximize team performance.
- Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant.
- Apply for, maintain and keep update all licenses and permits needed.
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives to grow the company.
- Examine productivity data and use them to improve profitability
- Ensure quality controls and monitor productivity.
- Assist with recruiting, training and supervising staff with office protocols.
- Find ways to increase quality of customer service and satisfaction
- Maintain confidentiality of both medical and business information
- Administer COVID regulations and ensure compliance with mandates
- Provide accountability in daily batch accounting for the front office team.
- Work with billing team to optimize revenue collections.
- Update and maintain, and negotiate for health plan payor contracts
Skills
- Unequivocally high levels of personal integrity with strong work ethics.
- 3 or more years of proven work experience as operations manager or similar role in the medical industry.
- Keen understanding of medical billing and health insurance, as well as HIPAA laws, OSHA, and other laws applicable in health care.
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
- Familiarity with business and financial principles.
- Excellent communication skills: verbal, nonverbal, writing, typing.
- Leadership ability, demonstrating kindness, humility, and adaptability.
- Outstanding organizational and problem solving skills
- A Bachelor Degree or higher in Health Care Administration, Business, Operations Management or a related field.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
