What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Toddler Teacher position at Grace Kids Academy?
Grace Kids Academy is growing quickly, and we are hiring! We are a Christian based preschool looking for outgoing talented individuals who love kids. If this sounds like something you are interest in, we are looking for a toddler teacher and school age teacher.
The schedule is Monday – Friday with weekends off.
Hours are looking like the following, 9-6, 10-6, 12-6, or 2-6 depending on the classroom.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- One year of experience working with children.
- Must have (or be willing to obtain) training and experience necessary to develop a safe, secure, and developmentally appropriate environment.
- Must be willing to become CPR/First aid certified
- Required personnel will have a fingerprinting and/or criminal investigation report completed.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs., in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
Job Description:

- Provide quality, loving, and nurturing care to children in the program.
- Promote feelings of security and trust with the children and parents.
- Actively engaged with the children at all times while serving as a role model through appearance and action.
- Maintain positive attitude and work behavior.
- Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class function of a class of children.
- Keep the classrooms and facility clean, organized, safe, and well maintained at all times.
- Any other duty assigned by a supervisor.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
