Account Manager PRO- Account Manager Job Purpose The Account Manager has the responsibility to accomplish the Sales organization’s mission of developing and maintaining a profitable customer base for White Knight/Graco products by increasing the sales of Process products within their respective market. Essential Duties Identify and establish sales channels to serve the customer base for Process products, and other applications as appropriate. Responds promptly to inquiries and seeks out and calls upon industrial contractors and industrial plants to identify their needs, to create product demand, and to close the sale. Performs territory sales development activities that support the distribution strategy by identifying and developing new and key accounts. Establishes and maintains favorable work relationships with customers and prospects and develops a good image of, and customer confidence in, the Company as a favored vendor as part of overall sales strategy. Participate in distribution program development and market development programs within the industrial and/or paint store channel. Serves as the interface between the customer and White Knight/ Graco to maximize the new product launch results and sales of new and existing Process products. Establishes and develops relationships and agreements with material suppliers. Monitors industry trends and competitive activities and communicates to sales/marketing management. Maintains training/demo equipment account according to corporate requirements. Budget management. Provides mentoring to less experienced sales personnel as required. Serves as an experienced resource for the PRO Sales personnel regarding product applications, difficult distributor/end-user issues, and internal processes and procedures of White Knight/Graco. Other duties as assigned. Position Requirements Essential Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering marketing technical field, or equivalent. 4 or more years of successful related sales experience (selling mechanical products through a distribution channel preferred). Demonstrated leadership skills. Effective written, oral, and presentation communication skills. Evidence of mechanical aptitude. Ability to work successfully without close supervision. Ability to work effectively with a variety of end-users. Ability to effectively manage the industrial distribution channel. Willingness to travel Valid driver’s license.
