They are looking for a talented and dynamic Technical Project Manager to join their team in Charlotte, USA.
Job Summary: As a Technical Project Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and coordinating technical projects related to our amusement parks and entertainment facilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, IT, operations, and creative departments, to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise will help enhance the guest experience through the successful implementation of innovative technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage technical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet quality standards and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to gather requirements, provide updates, and resolve issues.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all technical implementations.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management, preferably within the entertainment or theme park industry.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, MS Project).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards related to amusement parks and technical installations.
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
