We are seeking a motivated Policy Services Specialist to join our Gradient Insurance Brokerage team. Gradient Insurance Brokerage is an independent marketing organization offering fixed annuities and life insurance.
This position serves as the main point of contact at Gradient Insurance Brokerage for our Financial Service Professionals (FSPs) who submit applications for life insurance and annuities. This position operates as the internal case contact for a series of agents assessing, planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating business from submission to termination. They will work directly with our carrier case managers, suitability and underwriting specialists, and vendors to ensure the timely and successful processing of applications.

- High School Diploma or GED – Required
- Prior insurance or clerical experience – Preferred
- Proficient knowledge of the English language
- Basic skill in editing documents for correct grammar
- Basic skill in talking to others to convey information effectively
- Basic skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
- Basic skill in ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously
- Basic ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion
- Basic ability to work under pressure and meet close deadlines
Want some more specifics? Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Provide white glove, concierge level service for all FSPs
- Build and enrich relationships with advisors and marketers
- Provide direct correspondence and support for FSP inquires, including calls and emails
- Serve as a dedicated resource for New Business processes and procedures
- Process any customer specific mail received
- Build and maintain relationships with an assigned list of agents and their Life or Annuity book of business
- Tasks will include calling agents, carriers, and/or transfer companies to ensure cases are moving forward and being issued in a timely manner
- Provide direct correspondence and support for FSP inquiries, including fielding calls, digital communication via Gradient’s technology platform, emails, and face-to-face during events
- Back up for all Policy Services processing to ensure requests are reviewed same day
- All other duties as assigned
