This individual will facilitate the process to monitor, implement, and develop corporate initiatives with direction from the VP, and is responsible for producing corporate reports monthly and quarterly, as well as for the integrity of the data.

About The Role

As An HSE Manager At Graham, You Will
- Operate and maintain HSE MS and its supporting software.
- Take responsibility for own health, safety, and environmental protection, as well as that of direct reports, the general public, and visitors to the site(s).
- Work collaboratively with Operational Leadership and HSE Managers to ensure strategic objectives for the HSE MS are met.
- Monitor compliance for the incident reporting system (ACTS).
- Manage the Management of Change (MOC) and Service Desk tickets for continuous improvement of the HSEMS.
- Manage the Leadership Engagement Indicator (LEI) program.
- Develop and maintain internal and external processes to ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are trended.
- Communicate workplace trends, share best practices, and benchmark data with Operations and Regional HSE Managers for development of new policies, standards, and Preventative and Protective Measures (PPMs).
- Develop and monitor the Observation, Near Miss, and Intervention processes, trends, and systems.
- Monitor and maintain internal and external audit processes to ensure that the various Certificates of Recognition are maintained, and corrective actions are implemented into the HSE MS for continuous improvement.
- Develop, implement, and measure Corporate HSE MS training programs.
- Summarize statistical data of HSE training, identify undesirable trends, and recommend corrective action to management.
- Participate in major incident investigations if required.
- Oversee corporate initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Act as the subject matter specialist for the function and provide support to the business as required.
- Contribute to budget planning on initiatives.
- Interact with regulatory bodies and clients, taking a hands-on approach and acting as the point of contact.
- Participate in functional associations and public forums, staying current on policy and legislations changes in the industry.
- Demonstrate HSE and Quality behaviors that reflect corporate expectations of Actively Caring and Road to Zero.
- Minimum High School Diploma; College degree in a safety or closely related field is preferred.
- Certification in Health and Safety; safety designation is an asset (CHST, GSP, ASP, or CSP).
- 5-7 years of experience in safety or a related field.
- Understanding of how HSE MS systems work.
- Progressive experience in area of specialization.
- Strong understanding of provincial / state regulations.
- Deep knowledge of OSHA/DOSH processes.
- Strong grasp of safety terminology.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and online reporting software.

- Salary Range: 120k-140k
