What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infrastructure Administrator II - Voice Services position at Grainger?
Join the Grainger Team as an Infrastructure Administrator II specializing in voice services and support. As an Infrastructure Administrator II you will be responsible for day-to-day operations, maintenance, managing configuration baseline of voice systems and applicatoins. Infrastructure Administrators identify performance problems and malfunctions, address systems and equipment problems, perform hardware checks using the necessary testing tools and maintain hardware. Through automation and system improvements you get a chance to influence change through the efficiencies you identify!
More specifically, you will be responsible for ensuring that the performance and availability of voice and data services is maintained, partner with engineering teams for new releases, as well as the System Support Center for knowledge transfer and training. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proficiency with Avaya Phone Systems
- Proficiency with Cisco Voice Systems (Jabber, CUIC, etc.)
- Proficiency with Right Fax application.
- Proficiency with ServiceNow and Agile 2.0 experience.
This role will be offered remote as needed, and includes the potential to work off hours as part of a 24/7 on call rotation.
