Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Able to handle objects, reach with arms and hands, stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time; Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance, pull, bend, stoop, and perform upward reaching for an extended period of time.
Job Duties
Job Specific
Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in the correct uniform.
Answer telephones within 1 ring.
Take reservations as required ensuring accuracy.
Ensure that special requests are accommodated.
Maintain the cleanliness of workstation.
Ensure that all menu folders and inserts are clean and current.
Maintain inventory of menus and inserts
Ensure that all guest supplies are filled. Order and maintain the guest supply inventory.
Complete the floor plan and assign servers stations on a daily basis upon the approval of the manager.
Be familiar with the menus of restaurant, bars, and room service.
Ability to describe the style of cuisine and dictate the hours of operation.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company asset.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to Grand Beach Hotel standards, anticipate and address guests` service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
Speak with others using clear and professional language.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
