Controller

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Oversee the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees
- Maintain the general ledger and perform month-end close procedures
- Assist with technical accounting research and implementation of new accounting standards
- Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Manage accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices
- Assist with regulatory reporting requirements

Skills:
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in financial analysis techniques and tools
- Experience with payroll processing and related regulations
- Knowledge of balance sheet reconciliation processes
- Familiarity with general ledger accounting systems and practices
- Understanding of technical accounting standards and ability to apply them in practice
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for financial report writing
- Experience in public accounting is a plus
- Attention to detail and accuracy in accounts payable processing
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements
