Material Handler - 1st Shift!

Seeking a great, new role in the Greater Grand Forks area? Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading supplier in steel fabrication industry located in Grand Forks ND. We are seeking candidates for Material Handler positions on 1st shift. 1st shift hours are 6:30am-5:00pm. This shift will work Monday through Thursday with overtime on Fridays as needed. Compensation for these temp-to-hire opportunities are $19.00 per hour, depending on experience.

What you will do as a Material Handler:

• Transport materials to designated areas
• Unload and load freight
• Verify all items on packing slip for quantities received and backordered
• Inspect product for damage and document as needed
• Assist in year-end inventory procedures as needed
• Responsible for various yard work projects including general clean up, as needed
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere and attitude with customers, co-workers, management
• Help the company meet its Quality and Safety objectives

What you need to be a Material Handler:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior work experience in related field
• Basic computer knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
