Responsibility for managing the overall day-to-day running of all aspects of the hotel, including occupancy with groups, food and beverage, and events/banqueting.
Responsibilities include assisting the Line Manager with marketing and promotion, budgeting and financial planning and pricing to adhere to agreed prices/budgets, directing and organizing all of the hotel’s services, and maintaining applicable quality standards and records while assisting with the responsibility for ordering and obtaining supplies, quality control and management of all team members at the hotel.
This includes every aspect of the day-to-day running, including the front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, Chef/kitchen, leisure, human resources, accounts and sales/marketing, and managing, supporting, and assisting these department heads.
Assisting the Line Manager in ensuring compliance with sanitation, hygiene, health, and safety legislation, organizational and quality requirements, and working policies and procedures
Responsibility to staff and direct the team:
– to assist the Line Manager in managing the overall day-to-day running of all aspects of the hotel, including occupancy, food and beverage, and events/banqueting
– to assist the Line Manager in managing sales and marketing, housekeeping, front desk (including all reception and concierge), food and beverage, Chef/kitchen, leisure, human resources, accounts
– to adhere to agreed budgets and maintain applicable quality standards and records
– to assist the Line Manager in ensuring sufficient team members at all times and within agreed budgets
– quality control of all aspects, including hygiene and health and safety
– assist your Line Manager
– meet your targets and those of the hotel as a whole
– to assist the Line Manager with the smooth running the of the hotel
– contribute to training and development of the hotel team
– adhere to statutory obligations and agreed on quality and best practice guidelines
– understand all aspects of hotel services and management and assist the Line Manager in training the hotel team to enable them to deal with customer concerns confidently
– manage customers’ expectations and deal with and resolve all reviews and concerns.
Your usual hours will be from 11 am to 7 pm. However, you will be expected to work as and when is necessary to meet the needs of the team and your targets.
You need

– good understanding and proven ability of the hotel business and management principles required for the role
