Bus Garage - 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary:
$23.96/hour per SRP Contract
Qualifications:
Graduation from a high school, trade school or college and two (2) years' experience in automotive repair work, or six (6) years' experience in automotive repair work; or an equivalent combination of training and experience as indicated. Applicant must supply own tools. Must possess a class "A" or "B" NYS Commercial Driver's license with passenger school bus air brakes endorsement within the first 6 months of employment. Applicant must have knowledge of and be able to administer laws, rules, regulations and reporting methods of the NYS Department of Transportation with respect to school bus maintenance, inspection and operation procedures.
Duties:
The work involves responsibility for electrical diagnostic repair and maintenance of school buses, automotive, construction and other types of mechanical equipment in a suburban school district. Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor for Transportation.
May drive vehicles when required
