Description:
Assist Lead Watercraft Inspector conducting boat inspections, public outreach and boat decontamination operations at the Grand Portage Lodge and Casino Marina. The assistant will be part of a two-person crew dedicated to inspecting and pressure-washing all recreationand fishing boats operating on Lake Superior leaving and returning to the marina.
Education:
Applicant must be pursuing a high school diploma/GED or equivalent. Previous experience in a conservation or land management field such as wildlife biology or wildland fire preferred.
Qualifications:
Must be 17 years of age or older and possess a current driver's license.
Grand Portage requires a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for all positions. American Indian Preference will apply.
