ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Believe and demonstrate through their work the GSR Vision and Mission Statement.
- Vision Statement: Become the region's most respected hospitality and gaming company
- Mission Statement: We are dedicated to becoming a leader in the hospitality and gaming business by providing exceptional value and service to our guests, and commitment to the communities in which we live and serve
- Answer phone calls to the front desk
- Assign/prepare airline rooms
- Balance inventory
- Assign group rooms and suites
- Assist in the check in check out process
- Be the main contact for group contacts
- Attend pre convention meetings and speak about arriving group details
- Work with Sales and conventions on group arrivals
- Be able to handle guest issues and resolve them to the guest satisfaction
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to talk on the phone for long periods of time
- Available to work both day and swing shifts
- Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Self-starter with great organizational skills.
- People smarts and strong interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and works well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Must speak, read, write and understand English.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old.

May reach with hands and arms above shoulder level; bend/stoop, squat, balance, kneel, lift and push/pull. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
