The Department Secretary shows competency of all aspects of day to day office functioning in Hospice. The Department Secretary acts as a liaison between patient/family, hospital personnel, outside vendors, and staff. Supports all hospice staff, and performs accounts payable duties, vendor bills, and cost report preparation as assigned. Oversees purchasing of supplies and and is responsible for renewable employee requirements. Has ability to navigate computer software and perform intake, scheduling, and medical records tasks as assigned. The Department Secretary answers phones and processes confidential information.
Essential Functions:
Education and Experience:High School Diploma/GED And required And Over 6 months to 1 year over 6 months of secretarial duties required And Over 6 months to 1 year Data entry, Microsoft Office including Word and Excel required
