Maintenance Worker

The primary purpose of this position is to maintain and repair non Bio-Med equipment under the direction of the Director of Facilities.

General mechanical engineering background and general shop education is desired. However, extensive practical field experience in appropriate trade is also desirable and may be substituted for formal education.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Oregon driver’s license.
  • Able to work any hours of the day or days of the week, as required.
  • High School diploma, GED, or evidence of literacy.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Must be able to lift repeatedly fifty (50) pounds.
  • Must be able to work in weather extremes of hot and cold.
  • Must be able to move over steep-rough terrains.
  • Must be able to operate a variety of powered equipment for long periods of time.
  • Must have good body motion with no body movement limitations, must be able to work standing, bending or on your knees for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to operate and service small powered equipment.
