Job Posting for Medical Technologist at GRANDE RONDE HOSPITAL
Brief Description of Position: The Medical Technologist is responsible to the Laboratory Manager/ Supervisor and the Laboratory Medical Director. The Medical Technologist will perform clinical laboratory procedures in chemistry, hematology, serology, referred procedures, urinalysis, and phlebotomy. The Medical Technologist will also share in performance of clinical lab functions such as quality assurance, cost effective management and other projects associated with operation of the laboratory, including meeting the scheduling requirements of the laboratory. The Medical Technologist may also be required to perform special tasks including but not limited to: individual projects, departmental section responsibilities, serving on Hospital committees or QI teams. The Medical Technologist will be responsible for all duties as assigned by the Laboratory Manager or Supervisor.
