Production Supervisor in a manufacturing plant

The Production Line Supervisor position is responsible for coordinating a safely and efficiently run filling and packaging operation. This requires the ability to coordinate and plan with multiple other key positions and departments, as well as providing guidance in the revision and/or development & implementation of new policies, procedures, and controls.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE:
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including some technical writing.

· The ability to effectively manage time and multiple tasks while leading and motivating a team of subordinates.

· The ability to operate in a systematic and logical manner while making good decisive decisions based on; critical thinking, problem solving, and all around good judgement skills.

· Planning, organizational, negotiations, and administrative prowess

· Creation of documents/reports related to; emails, data reports (utilization, efficiency, and OEE), spread sheets, presentations, meeting minutes, etc. utilizing the following Microsoft products; Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.

· Production and manufacturing processes and techniques

· Raw materials – Collaborate with Purchasing. Logistics, and Inventory Management

· Quality systems and standards.

· Health and safety standards and compliance

· General math and financial calculations

· The ability to learn our Great Plains – ERP/MRP system

· General business, finance and management principles
