We are seeking a skilled Food Production Manager to oversee our food manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in production management and possess a strong mechanical aptitude. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating production activities, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining quality standards.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise production staff to meet production goals
- Develop and implement production schedules and workflows
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Coordinate with other departments to optimize production efficiency
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions
- Train and mentor production team members
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and various hand and power tools
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot machinery if needed
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment and manage inventory effectively
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in food manufacturing
- Must speak both English and Spanish
