Credit Resolution Specialist

GSCU has an opportunity available for a Credit Resolution Specialist. This position is primarily responsible for contacting members to address loan delinquency and overdrawn shares. In addition, the position works with members who experience financial hardship.

Credit Resolutions Specialist

General Expected Job Duties

• Complete outbound phone calls to delinquent members
• Answer incoming phone calls from delinquent members
• Assist other areas of the CU by answering incoming queue calls
• Investigate and resolve member account questions/problems
• Prepare attorney assignments for charged off loans/shares
• Preparation and administration of collection letters
• Prepare paperwork for member hardship requests
• Other duties as assigned

Skill Requirements

• Dependable
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Energetic and self-motivated
• The ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities and multiple responsibilities in a fast paced team environment
• Excellent interpersonal, telephone, writing, and customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products such as Word & Excel
• Able to work the Saturday rotation
• Previous collection experience a plus but will train the right candidate.
