The YMCA of Downtown Manchester is seeking part time Site Directors for our School’s Out Programs for the 2022-2023 school year.

We are seeking energetic and creative individuals to provide a high quality before and after-school child care program for youth grades K-5. This job is ideal for Education, Psychology, Sports & Recreation majors!
Responsibilities:Plan, organize and implement the daily
program and curriculum at a site (before and/or after school hours)Adhere school site program to NH Child
Care Licensing regulations and maintain appropriate filesImplement our Character Development
curriculum components and role model Y core valuesSupervise, train and mentor site staff
and assigned volunteersBuild and maintain strong working
relationships with school/administrative staff and parentsAdditional hours available during no
school days, vacation week programs, and during our summer camp
Pay Range: $14.75 - $16.75 hourly
Shift: 6:30 – 8:30a and/or 2:30 – 6:00p
Qualifications:Must be at least 20 years of age, have a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma, and have at least one of the following:A bachelor’s degree in elementary education or recreation, awarded by a regionally accredited college or university;An associate’s degree in early childhood education, awarded by a regionally accredited college or university;Certification of successful completion of training as a recreation director plus 1000 hours experience working with children in a licensed child care program, recreation program or elementary school;A total of 12 credits in early childhood education, human growth and development, education or recreation, from a regionally accredited college plus 1000 hours of experience working with children.
