Job Posting for Administrative Sales Assistant FT 40 hours at Grant Supplies

Location: 630 Huyler Street, South Hackensack, NJ

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Job Functions & Responsibilities

  • Recommend and sell appropriate products to customers
  • Learn and retain product knowledge and specifications
  • Maintain effective and strong relationships with customers
  • Effectively work in cooperation with department staff and management on duties assigned
  • Follow up with manufacturers or sales representatives regarding special orders
  • Contact customers when their special orders have arrived and are ready for pickup.
  • Provide excellent customer service through phone, email, and in-person
  • Assist with project counts and price inquiries
  • Assist with counter sales as needed
  • Other project sales assistant duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Specific experience and knowledge in electrical/plumbing supply industries is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in office administration and/or customer service
  • Proficient in using web browsers, Microsoft and Outlook
  • High School Diploma or GED required
