Diligence Associate I Job Summary:
Job Duties:
Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.
Research and consult on various matters; utilize project related software.
Maintain a good working relationship with clients and work effectively with client management and staff at all levels to gather information and perform services.
Work closely with senior associates and managers to promptly resolve client problems or issues encountered.
Gain understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives, and utilize that knowledge on engagements.
Attend professional development and training sessions on a regular basis.
Other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
Certifications & Licensures:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the following: accounting, audit or transaction advisory services.
KSAs:
Strong current knowledge in US GAAP, GAAS, SEC Reporting, transaction advisory services or mergers and acquisitions.
Strong software skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong teamwork and analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work additional hours as needed and up to 40% travel to various client sites.
