Job Summary:
- Full-time, 190-day school year position available for the upcoming 2023-24 school year
- Partners with educators, families and communities to provide effective learning environments for all students
- Develops collaborative relationships with Agency staff and school districts to provide services that are customer focused and based on district service plans
- Supports schools in school improvement efforts through continuous school improvement
- Serves as the Agency lead in supporting school districts in activities, learning, and leadership in the area of Social Studies
- Serves to increase district/building/teacher capacity for the improvement of Social Studies teaching and learning
- Collaborates with a variety of stakeholders to advance both school improvement efforts as well as Social Studies teaching and learning
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in the field of education or related area.
- Three years of professional experience in K-12 education.
- Iowa instructional license for the assigned focus curricular area(s) to include Social Studies and/or Social Sciences endorsement
