Grants Pass School District No. 7 is now accepting applications for the following position for the 2022-2023 school year:

Campus Security Supervisor

8 hours per day/188 days to work

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.
2. Must have knowledge of policies and practices of agencies serving youth including school, police, juvenile court, C.S.D, family services, etc.
3. Able to identify possible student involvement in drugs, gang activities, or other illegal dangerous activities.
4. Should have experience with youth and demonstrated an ability to effectively supervise youth.
5. Must establish and maintain cooperative relationships with fellow employees, and the general public and be able to get along well with students while still being willing to hold them accountable for their behavior and choices.
6. Ability to make initial inquiries with students into possible violations of GPHS rules and/or District #7 policies while treating students with respect and in a manner that maintains student dignity at all times.
7. Willingness and ability to work as a team in establishing and promoting “attendance matters.”
8. Willing and able to serve as the eyes and ears of campus and keep the safety of students and staff of highest priority.
9. Willing and able to uphold school and district protocols which could occasionally include confronting problematic behavior of unauthorized guests, or those not following school and district protocols.
10. Bilingual and bi-literate in Spanish preferred.

STARTING SALARY RANGE:  $19.33-$27.47 per hour. Dependent on experience/education.
