Packaging Designer JOB SUMMARY: Creates designs using CAD software. Understands and can interpret customer requirements as it relates to product specifications. Understanding of aligning business operations and the Department as he/she executes their role to exceed customer expectations and align with GPI business, cultural, financial, and operational objectives. To perform this job successfully, an individual must follow all Safety procedures. Individual must have excellent attendance, be able to work independently and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Primary Responsibilities and Skills:
· Guides the design process from beginning to end
· Creates structural designs using CAD software
· Lay-out dies, tooling and coater blankets using CAD software
· Enter die and tooling information into Excel and Airtable
· Create production samples, vinyls, coaters and spot sheets on the sample table
