Join our growing team in Louisville! Mail Louisville, a division of Graphic Village, is seeking a full-time Digital Print Operator to perform operations for several types of digital printers and inkjet equipment for the mailing industry. Equipment including digital and laser printers, inserters, addressing equipment, etc.
Essential Functions
- Setup machine for production by uploading data, data setup, adjusting stops, guides and speed.
- Examine job tickets to determine details such as material, quantities to be printed and data layout.
- Inspect and examine printed products for print clarity/quality, removing blanks, conformance to postal regulation, and external defects.
- Maintains machine production by observing operation and adjusting controls.
- Adjust machines as need to maintain product quality and productivity.
- Ensures smooth operation of equipment by completing basic preventive maintenance and cleaning.
- Documents job tickets upon completing jobs.
- Contributes to Team by accomplishing goals as needed.

- Must be will to work overtime, and some weekends
- Must be flexible in daily assignments and able to move to different work areas as needed
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass drug test
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Education and Experience
- Inkjet and digital print experience in a direct mail environment
Work Environment
The work environment is a fast-paced production environment where the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration and moderate to loud noise level.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motion.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 40 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
VISUAL ACUITY REQUIREMENTS: Operates machines, such as lathes, drill presses, power saws, and mills where the seeing job is at or within arm’s reach; performs mechanical or skilled trades tasks of a non-repetitive nature, such as printer, technicians, service people, mechanics, etc.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with a standard schedule of 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required dependent upon business necessity.
