Position Overview :

Gravity is looking for a Product Owner to help our client’s development teams eliminate barriers through the implementation of agile and scrum practices.

Working across departments to capture and prioritize business needs, this person will manage the backlog of cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will possess 5 years of experience working to implement scrum and agile practices for offshore development teams.

Specifically, experience managing development teams at a SaaS company is preferred. Any experience at a Healthcare / Pharma company is a plus.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Manage and prioritize the team backlog, working with stakeholders to ensure that it accurately reflects current priorities and business value
• Write clear product backlog stories, prioritizing items that best meet overall team and company objectives
• Ensure team is performing in a manner to provide optimized value
• Work closely with business owners and SME’s to understand and write user stories to prioritize requirements
• Work with scrum master and team to set and deliver upon sprint goals

Required Experience & Skills :

• 5 years of experience working as a PO and implementing Agile and Scrum best practices into development team sprints
• 5 years of experience managing offshore development teams driving their deliverables to on time completion
• 5 years of experience working across an organization with internal and external stakeholders, building and maintaining strong relationships
• Experience leading development teams in a SaaS environment is preferred
• Experience in the Healthcare space is preferred
